- Location: ISM Research & Collections Center, Springfield
- Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2014, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
The International Council for Archaeozoology (ICAZ) promotes archaeological research on the past relationships between humans and animals worldwide. ICAZ sponsors a quadrennial international conference, and this year it was held near the Andes Mountains in San Rafael, Argentina. Robert Warren attended the conference and presented a paper on his analysis of freshwater mussel shells from archaeological sites in the Illinois River basin. This brown bag will outline Bob's trip to Argentina, sights and sounds in the San Rafael area, and happenings at the ICAZ Conference.
