Brownbag Lectures: Mahasarakham Harmonicas: The Khaen mouth organ and other Thai musical instruments

This presentation introduces Thai culture and musical instruments including the Khaen mouth organ of NE Thailand and the Saw Oo coconut fiddle of the classical orchestra. The talk will incorporate photos and video from a recent trip to Bangkok and Mahasarakham.

Weekly lectures held at the Museum's Research and Collections Center. Lectures are usually held during lunchtime on Wednesday. The RCC is located at 1011 E. Ash Street in Springfield.
