Brownbag Lectures: Conservation and Cave Ecology

Dr. Taylor's areas of research include biota of caves and other subterranean environments in relation to groundwater quality, invasive species, and human impacts; Life history and biology of waterstriders and related taxa (Heteroptera:Gerromorpha); Biology, taxonomy, and distribution of Aradidae (Heteroptera). His activities include cave and karst biology, conservation, and management; Biology, ecology, and taxonomy of True Bugs (Heteroptera); Aquatic Biologist/Aquatic Zoology Coordinator for the Statewide Biological Survey and Assessment Program.
One of our Brownbag Lectures
Weekly lectures held at the Museum's Research and Collections Center. Lectures are usually held during lunchtime on Wednesday. The RCC is located at 1011 E. Ash Street in Springfield. Access to the building is from 10 ½ Street (between Ash and Laurel Streets), where there is ample visitor parking in the west parking lot. For more information, please call 217-785-0037.
