Fall into Volunteering in the Play Museum! Posted Friday, September 05, 2014

The Mary Ann MacLean Play Museum is an exciting hands-on area where children ages 3-10 can learn -- through play -- about art, people, and nature.

Friendly, energetic volunteers are needed to greet and interact with families and groups and help keep the exhibit neat. Play Museum volunteers must be adults or teens 13 and up, and able to work 2 shifts a month. We have a special need for adults who can volunteer on weekday mornings or afternoons.

Prospective volunteers must complete an application, a brief interview, and a group training session. Our upcoming group training sessions are:

                                 Saturday, October 4, 9 - 11 am

                                 Saturday, November 1, 9 - 11 am

                                 Saturday, December 6, 9 - 11 am

For an application or more information contact Beth Shea at volunteer@museum.state.il.us. Thank you for your interest in our volunteer program!
