Winter Field Trip to The Field Museum

• Location: Illinois State Museum, Springfield, Springfield
• Date: Friday, December 02, 2016, 6:30 AM - 10:30 PM

Cost: $130 ISM Society Members, $150 Non-members

Itinerary: Meet at the ISM Research and Collections Center (RCC) at 6:30 a.m. for a 7:00 a.m. departure. The bus will return to the RCC around 10:30 p.m. The RCC is located at 1011 E. Ash St., Springfield.

Travel to see the famous Terracotta Warriors first hand at The Field Museum's exhibition China's First Emperor and His Terracotta Warriors. Dr. Michael Wiant will provide commentary on this subject during the ride to Chicago. Participants will have full access to The Field Museum and its exhibits, especially the new Cyrus Tang Hall of China exhibition and the Mysteries of China 3D movie.

The trip includes transportation via chartered motor-coach, access to all Field Museum exhibitions, exclusive educational content, a boxed lunch, and dinner in Chinatown (alcohol may be purchased separately).

Registration and payment are due by Tuesday, November 15. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Participants may register online at bit.ly/ismtrip2016 (preferred).
