Made in Illinois. Wander the Illinois State Museum and discover the work of Illinois Artisans. Working in glass, jewelry, fiber, painting, photography, and pottery, artisans will be demonstrating their media and displaying craft made in Illinois. For two days, the museum’s first floor will become an artisans’ holiday market. Explore craft under an Oak Tree, along the Illinois and Cache Rivers, and through the changing landscapes of our breathtaking state. The unique, thoughtful, and locally created gift items you’ve been searching for are here.

Shop Local. Shop Art. Still looking for that perfect piece? The Museum Store exhibits a wide selection of Illinois Artisan works from throughout the state and will be open and ready to assist you during the Spree. The Store will be open 9AM-5PM on Saturday and Noon-4:45PM on Sunday.
Discover Art. The second floor galleries will also be open during the Spree. In the main gallery, appreciate Sketches, Journals, Preparations… EVERYTHING IN PLACE which focuses on the creative process, long before brush comes to canvas. Also enjoy AUDUBON: Selected Prints from the Collection featured in the temporary|PERMANENT gallery.
