Have you ever wondered what it would be like to spend the night in a museum? Join us for this year's overnight camp in at the Illinois State Museum! On March 28, children in grades 3-5 will have the opportunity to attend "Shutterbugs: Overnight Camp In" and sleep under a giant oak tree in the Museum's natural history exhibit.
During this fun, photography-themed evening, campers will learn photography tips and participate in a photo shoot, a visual scavenger hunt, and more. They will experiment with light sensitive paper and Polaroid cameras, and there will also be time to play in the Play Museum. The evening will end with a movie. A late-night pizza snack and breakfast will be provided.
This will be the ONLY camp in experience offered in 2014! Register now! Registration is required by March 24 and limited to 20 participants, so sign up soon. Visit bit.ly/ismcampin2014 or contact Elizabeth Bazan at ebazan@museum.state.il.us or (217) 782-5993.
