HAND THROWING & WHEEL TECHNIQUE - LIVE!

Join us as ceramic Artist, Joseph P. Hadamik will be demonstrating various hand building techniques including wedging and wheel throwing as clay evolves into form. His glazing, firing and finishing processes will be discussed as well in what promises to be a magical afternoon. Self described as,"Peaceful Potter" Joe will share his wisdom, insight and creative impulses that he has accrued in thirty years making art. Several examples of his work are featured in the current exhibition, OPEN!
Work will be available to purchase!. Joe will have samples of his functional and creative forms available for you to take home that
afternoon. He has graciously committed a portion of sales to us here at ISM-Lockport. This is a perfect opportunity for holiday shopping, treating yourself and supporting the museum all at once! Event is open to the public; reservations are not required for either the 1:00pm or 3:00pm sessions.
