Tot Time: Fun for Tots & their Big People

At Dickson Mounds on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. the Tot Time topic will be “Clay Creations”. The program will focus on how ancient Native Americans made and used pottery. Tots and their adults may enjoy working together to create their own piece of pottery to take home.

Admission is free and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served. Groups of eight or more should call the Museum in advance to ensure the availability of supplies. The 2015 Tot Time program series is sponsored by Better Banks of Astoria, Bistro 101, Cass Communications, Cook Medical, Havana National Bank, MidAmerica National Bank, and Vaughn’s Plumbing, Heating & A/C. The Illinois State Museum - Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97. The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
