Kid's Day: Winter in Illinois

Dickson Mounds Museum is hosting a Kid’s Day: Winter in Illinois on Saturday, January 10, 2015, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Kids ages 5 and up with an adult will learn how ancient and historic people passed their time on a wintry day in Illinois through hands-on crafts and activities, including tool-making, playing games, and doll making.

Admission is free. Registration is not required. Scouts are encouraged to participate as this program may fulfill some badge requirements. This program is co-sponsored by the City of Lewistown.

The Illinois State Museum - Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97. The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
