Hickory Ridge Concert Series: Dan Zahn and Kate Moretti return to Perform at Dickson Mounds

According to Duke Ellington, "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing." Dan Zahn and Kate Moretti certainly agree with this! They will bring their special blend of gypsy influenced jazz, swing, traditional folk, blues and Dan’s originals to the Hickory Ridge Concert Series Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Dan’s adept guitar and Kate's sultry vocals join together in a smoky combination that smolders and swings.
Zahn and Moretti have been together since 2003 performing a spicy blend of blues, swing and jazz music from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Dan is a self-taught guitarist and mandolin player whose influences run from Doc Watson to gypsy legend, Django Reinhardt. Kate spent a few years performing as a folk artist before finding her true voice as a singer of jazz and swing, and what a voice she has!
