Buggy Night!

Dickson Mounds Museum is hosting a new family program on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. “Buggy Nights” will explore what bugs are active at night. Bug enthusiast Jim Wiker will demonstrate how to attract an array of bugs and teach participants how to identify them.

Participants should dress appropriately for this outdoor activity. This program is free and registration is not required. Scouts are encouraged to participate in this program as it may fulfill some badge requirements.

The Illinois State Museum - Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97. The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
