Summer Fun Fridays!

Dickson Mounds Museum is hosting a new summer program series for kids ages 9-11 years old. The Summer Fun Friday topic will be “Navigation” on June 27, 2014. Participants will learn how to read maps and use a compass and GPS device.
Registration is required with a deadline of Wednesday, June 25, 2014. To register call the museum at 309-547-3721. The fee is $3 for Illinois State Museum Society members and $5 for non-members. Participants must provide their own snacks and drinks and dress appropriately for the outdoors. The Summer Fun Friday program series will be offered every Friday June 13, 2014 - July 25, 2014 (except July 4th) from 10:00am-11:30am with a different topic featured each week.
