Tot Time: Fun for Tots & their Big People

At Dickson Mounds on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 9:30 a.m., the Tot Time topic will be “Something is Fishy”. Representatives from the Illinois River Biological Station, Havana, IL will show live fish from Thompson Lake and talk about these native and non-native species. Afterwards, tots will make a fish craft to take home.
Admission is free and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served. Participants should dress appropriately for this outdoor activity. Groups of eight or more should call the Museum in advance to ensure the availability of supplies. The 2014 Tot Time program series is sponsored by Havana National Bank and MidAmerica National Bank with additional support from the Canton Cook Medical Team. The Illinois State Museum - Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97. The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
