At Dickson Mounds on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 9:30 am the Tots and their Big Person program will focus on ice. Icy Fun will highlight how ice is formed, if it sinks or floats, and if big chunks of ice melt faster than small chunks. Tots will enjoy making ice towers and painting with ice.
Admission is free and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served. The 2014 Tot Time program series is sponsored by Havana National Bank and MidAmerica National Bank. The Illinois State Museum - Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97. The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
