Tots and their Big Person Program: Spiders

Beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Dickson Mounds, the Tots and their Big Person program will focus on Spiders. The Peoria Zoo’s Zoomobile will present a short program on spiders and show participants a live tarantula, vinegaroon, and scorpion. Tots will then enjoy making various crafts to take home. Admission is free and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served.

The Illinois State Museum - Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97.  The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
