Fun for Moms & Tots: Little Birdie

Dickson Mounds Museum is offering a new monthly program series for mothers and their young children in 2013. Fun for Moms & Tots will be held on the first Thursday of each month from 9:30am-11:00am in the Museum’s Discovery Center. On February 7th the program will be Little Birdie. Moms & Tots will hear a story, listen to the birds tweet, and make pinecone bird feeders. They will also have a chance to explore the Discovery Center together, while making new friends.
Admission is free and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served. This program is sponsored by Havana National Bank. If you are interested in becoming a program sponsor, please contact Curator of Education Christa Christensen at 309-547-3721.
The Illinois State Museum - Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97. The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
