Art Sprees: Valentine Art Spree

Discover the perfect gift for your sweetheart at the Illinois Artisans Shop Valentine Art Spree in the atrium of the James R. Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph Street, Chicago, February 13 & 14, 2007, 10:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. On Tuesday & Wednesday, selected members of the Illinois Artisans Program will exhibit and sell fine craft items that will make excellent Valentine's Day gifts. Twelve Illinois artisans will display work including knitted scarves, handmade cards, paintings, glass and a wonderful array of jewelry made from traditional and innovative materials. One-of-a-kind jewelry made from materials such as sterling silver and semi-precious stones will be on display. As a special feature for Valentine's Day, David Johnson will display jewelry and architectural images that combine weaving, digital imagery and beading.
