  • Date: Monday, March 30, 2015 through Saturday, April 18, 2015 , 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Apply to the Illinois Artisans Program

Next Deadline April 17th

The Illinois Artisans Program is continually looking for talented new artists to join the Program. All areas of arts and crafts, including folk, traditional, contemporary, and ethnic, as well as fine art forms are eligible. Over 1,800 artists have been jury selected into the IAP. Once selected, their work can be shown at one or more Illinois Artisans locations.  Juried artists participate in art sprees, craft festivals and other events in order to promote their work. (Deadlines are October 12 and March 28th, this is a post mark deadline) Download application here.

Before you submit: To become a juried artist of the Artisans Program, an artist must live and work within the state. Their craft work must then be reviewed and accepted by a jury-panel sponsored by the Program. The Artisans Program organizes a jury of knowledgeable art specialists to review applications from new artists. The location of the jury rotates between Chicago, Springfield, and Southern Illinois.
