  • Date: Monday, December 01, 2014 through Wednesday, December 31, 2014 , 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Wood Artisan Leonard Vitacca of Orland Park, Illinois designs and crafts inlayed frames and clocks. What started with his father’s old oak workbench and few sample frames grew into a prolific art career. Last year, Vitacca surpassed the milestone of creating 1,000 frames. Vitacca enjoys the process of working with the colors and textures of woods from around the world, combining them to create elaborate inlay designs. “My mind is always active in creating one-of-a-kind designs, and I am happy to have found a
way to share the beauty of natural woods with others.” A celebration of Leonard Vitacca’s inlay designs and craftsmanship will take place this December at Illinois Artisans, Chicago.
