I am a painter who has fallen in love with screen printing. Like my paintings and drawings, the images on my cards come from what interests me most. For example, I love flowers, or I am intrigued by a particular friend's love of birds. Or sometimes an idea may come from the fact that I just get a kick out of my nieces and nephews, and their suggestions about what I should draw next.

My first cards were inspired by teasing my niece, Eliza, about going to camp, and how I was going to write her lots of letters while she was there. Since I teased her for four full days, I decided I couldn’t buy a card—instead I had to make her a card.  Many cards later, I’ve become passionate about the whole process of screen-printing: drawing the artwork, inking on mylar, shooting the screens, and most of all printing them.
