Explore the insatiable creative appetite of one of Illinois’ artistic treasures. This talk will examine the many manifestations of Jackson’s art production. Viewers will get a sneak preview of the Richard Pryor commission (in- progress) and an overview of the artist’s multidirectional studio practice. Jackson is one of the featured artists in the current ISM Chicago FOCUS 4 exhibition. He is professor emeritus from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, founder of the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, and his work is in numerous public and private collections.
