Munindra Khaund is the multimedia education coordinator for the University of Illinois Springfield, where he consults with faculty, staff, and students on effective use of new media technology. He conducts multimedia and social media workshops, and assists faculty in integrating technology into the classroom. Munindra led the initiative to establish the university's presence in the Apple iTunes Store, where UIS faculty and staff podcasts are now distributed to over 200 million users throughout the world. He has conducted workshops and presented papers on multimedia and new media technologies at national and international conferences. Prior to his move to academe, Munindra was instrumental in launching India's first Internet media company.
One of our Brownbag Lectures
Weekly lectures held at the Museum's Research and Collections Center. Lectures are usually held during lunchtime on Wednesday. The RCC is located at 1011 E. Ash Street in Springfield. Access to the building is from 10 ½ Street (between Ash and Laurel Streets), where there is ample visitor parking in the west parking lot. For more information, please call 217-785-0037.
