Calamagrostis canadensis (Bluejoint Reedgrass)
Bluejoint Reedgrass grows in wet prairies and meadows throughout the tallgrass prairie region. It blooms in the early summer through midsummer. It can reach six feet in height. Roots are shallow and it spreads with rhizomes.
