This ISM systemwide program features art exhibitions that focus on the diverse fine and decorative arts of Illinois. Rotating exhibitions travel to ISM sites in Springfield, Chicago, Lockport, Rend Lake and occasionally Dickson Mounds. The ISM Art program oversees the Museum's permanent collections of fine and decorative arts with combined holdings of over 35,000 historic and contemporary fine and decorative art objects.
