With the exception of incised bone pins and finely ground banner stone weights for atlatls, Archaic people of the American Bottom left us few art objects.

However, the people sometimes created stone tools that are beautiful by today's standards. Tools such as this spear point also appear to be too large and fragile for extensive use as hunting implements.
