Wednesday Workshops for Kids: Colored Pencils

  • Location: Southern Illinois Art & Artisans Center, Whittington
  • Date: Wednesday, July 07, 2010, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Art instructor Rusty Watson of Mt. Vernon will hold two workshops in July for children. On the 7th children will use colored pencils on the Symbolic Family Flag. The following week, July 14, students will work on the Symbolic Totems. Children will learn to appreciate the beauty in everyday forms found all around them in everyday objects and treasures. Working with colored pencils is a process of glazing with numerous layers of colors.

All supplies for Children's Workshops will be supplied. A mid morning snack will be provided.

Time: 10am-12pm. Tuition: 20.00 each workshop. Advance registration is required. To register or for more information, please call (618) 629-2220.
