Where Are the Wild Things?

  • Location: Illinois State Museum, Springfield, Springfield
  • Date: Sunday, October 26, 2008, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Bring your whole family to this annual fun and safe Halloween event! Visit the Hall of Skeletons, touch a live bug, explore a wild bat cave, make fun crafts, go on a scavenger hunt, and take home a bag of candy and lots of prizes.

You can also enjoy fantastic entertainment. At 12:30 p.m. Juggler Troy Roark will perform followed by Magician Eldon Roark at 1:30 p.m. The Illinois Raptor Center will present "Illinois Night Shift" a live owl show at 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

  • Enjoy performers like magicians and jugglers.
  • Have your picture taken with a friendly witch.
  • Explore a wild bat cave.
  • Get a Halloween tattoo.
  • Get a treat bag full of candy.
  • Win a door prize.
  • Have fun with the whole family!
