Hickory Ridge Concert Series: Deborrah Wyndham

Pianist/composer Deborrah Wyndham has delighted listeners in over 2,700 shows during the last ten years and more. Described by her jazz peers as "a cross between Liberace and Bill Evans", her live performances provide unexpected satisfaction to both audiences seeking classical sounds and jazz sentiment. She bridges the gap between the two diverse genres as she weaves seamlessly in and out of them. While the vein of her original compositions is hauntingly beautiful, a fusion of contemporary classical and jazz styles, she performs many other styles including stride, ragtime and her own arrangements of traditional jazz and pop. Deborrah has recorded four solo piano CDs and received an Honorable Mention from Billboard Magazine in 2004 for one of her compositions
