Special Event for Luminous Ground: Artists with Histories
At twelve noon on Thursday, May 19th, exhibition co-curator Judith Lloyd Klauba will lead a tour in the Illinois State Museum Chicago Gallery's second floor exhibition space in the James R. Thompson Center. Works by eleven remarkable and vibrant elder Chicago artists in Luminous Ground: Artists with Histories will be discussed as well as ideas on creativity and aging that framed the exhibition. Questions and audience discussion/participation are welcome.
