Ellipsaria lineolata (Butterfly)
The interior of the butterfly mussel shell has thick, white nacre that is iridescent toward the posterior end. The pseudocardinal teeth are rather large, divergent, and serrated. The lateral teeth are serrated and straight. The beak cavity is shallow.
