Ratibida pinnata (Gray-headed Coneflower)
Gray-headed Coneflower grows to four feet tall in dry to mesic prairies. it blooms in late spring to fall with yellow-petals flowers surrounding a brown disk. This specimen shows a stalked, lobed basal leaf and smaller stem leaves.
