Camassia scilloides (Wild Hyacinth)
Wild Hyacinth is a spring-flowering bulb that is common in dry and mesic prairies, and also grows in open woodlands and on rocky slopes.
The leaves are straplike and measure about a foot long and a half-inch wide. Stems are about a foot tall. The flowers are light blue or lavender. They have three petals and three sepals that resemble the petals. The six yellow-tipped stamens and the green ovary are prominent.
