Cacalia atriplicifolium (Pale Indian Plantain)
This specimen of Pale Indian Plantain shows heavily lobed leaves and a sparse late flower cluster of tubular flowers. Each flower head is less than one half inch wide.
Pale Indian Plantain grows in dry to mesic prairies and flowers in summer to fall.
