Baptisia alba (White Wild Indigo)
This specimen of White Wild Indigo shows branching stems and the foliage with its triple leaflets. White Wild Indigo grows across the tallgrass prairie in moist to dry prairies. It flowers from late spring to midsummer with stalked flowers consisting of three white petals.
