This is a wing of the insect Heterologus langfordorum. It is a member of the extinct group of large insect called the Protorthoptera; this group is most closely related to modern cockroaches, mantids, grasshoppers, and walking sticks.

This specimen is the holotype. Both the part and counter-part are shown in this picture.
