Volunteer in the Mary Ann MacLean Play Museum Posted Friday, April 20, 2012

Come join the fun!

The Mary Ann MacLean Play Museum is an exciting hands-on area where children ages 3-10 can learn -- through play -- what it’s like to work at a museum.

Friendly, energetic volunteers are needed to greet families and groups, interact with visitors, and help keep the exhibit neat. Play Museum volunteers must be adults, or teens 13 and up. Volunteers are asked to commit to two shifts a month. Volunteers must complete an application and interview before training.

Group training dates for 2012 are:

  • Saturday, June 16 (9:00 - noon)
  • Saturday, October 20 (9:00 - noon)

For a volunteer application or more information, please contact Beth Shea at volunteer@museum.state.il.us or 217-782-5507.
