Modern Pop Art Experience with Michael Albert

On Father’s Day, the Illinois State Museum will welcome visiting New York artist and author Michael Albert, as he travels from his home in White Plains to Kansas City for his 10-state “Modern Pop Art Experience” tour.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice
ISM Dickson Mounds Museum

Wake up early on Sunday, June 21, 2015 ( 5:00 a.m.-6:30 a.m.) to welcome the first day of summer at Dickson Mounds Museum, when the sun is at its highest point and casts the longest period of daylight in a twenty-four period.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice begins at 5:00 am at the Museum. Enjoy the sunrise from the Museum’s observation deck and live music by musician and composer Paul Adams whose music runs in genres such as Fingerstyle Guitar, World Fusion, New Age, and Jazz. Find out more ...

ISM Lockport Gallery will be open special hours on Saturday, June 20, from 11am to 5 pm and regular hours, Sunday, June 21, from noon to 5 pm, during the Canal Days festival for viewing of the exhibition Focus 4: Four Solo Exhibitions.
PARKING WILL BE EXTREMELY LIMITED.
