Second Sunday Science Series: The Science of Climate Change

Dr. Eric Grimm of the Illinois State Museum will speak on “The Science of Climate Change” at Dickson Mounds Museum on Sunday, November 11, 2012 as part of the Second Sunday Science Series sponsored by Dickson Mounds and the University of Illinois at Springfield Therkildsen Field Station.
Grimm will discuss the major climate and vegetation changes in Illinois since the last Ice Age, how scientists reconstruct past vegetation and climate, the major natural and man-made drivers of climate change, and how these factors may affect our future climate. Find out more ...
