Bugs at Night
- Location: ISM Dickson Mounds Museum, Lewistown
- Date: Saturday, August 08, 2015, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Dickson Mounds Museum is hosting a Bugs Night on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 8:00 pm. Bug enthusiast Jim Wiker will demonstrate how to attract an array of bugs at night and teach participants how to identify them.
Jim Wike’s fascination with insects started as a 4-year-old and a collection he entered in the county fair a few years later. Forty-plus years later, this passionate, self-taught, well-published entomologist received international recognition from The North American Pollinator Protection Campaign and The Pollinator Partnership for what has become much more than a hobby.
Participants should dress appropriately for this outdoor activity. This program is free and registration is not required.
