"Our Town for Kids" in Astoria, IL

As part of the Spoon River Reads project, Dickson Mounds Museum and the Fulton County Arts Council are hosting “Our Town for Kids” at That Place, 1003 E. Broadway, in Astoria on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.. Participants will discover the history of their town and will create artwork depicting their favorite building, location, or lore.
There is a suggested donation of $2 per participant to cover the cost of the supplies. This program is a collaborative effort between Dickson Mounds Museum, the Fulton County Arts Council, and the Spoon River Reads project. The Fulton County Arts Council is partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
