Genus Strophitus

Strophitus undulatus (Squawfoot)
The interior of the squawfoot mussel shell has nacre that is bluish white along the margins and cream or salmon near the beak cavity. The pseudocardinal teeth and the lateral teeth are visible only as thickened ridges. The beak cavity is rather shallow.
