Quadrula metanevra (Monkeyface)
The interior of the monkeyface mussel shell has pearly white nacre that is iridescent on the posterior side. The pseudocardinal teeth are well developed and serrated. The lateral teeth short, heavy and straight. The beak cavity is deep.
