Pleurobema cordatum (Ohio Pigtoe)
The interior of the ohio pigtoe mussel shell has white or pink nacre. The pseudocardinal teeth are well-developed (upper right) and the lateral teeth are somewhat curved. The beak cavity is markedly deep.
