Class Bivalvia : Subclass Paleoheterodonta : Genus Obliquaria

Obliquaria reflexa (Threehorn Wartyback)
The interior of the threehorn wartyback mussel shell has pearly white nacre. The shell is thick; the cavity can be shallow to deep. Pseudocardinal teeth are heavy and serrated (upper right of specimen). The lateral teeth are straight, short and serrated.
