Class Bivalvia : Subclass Paleoheterodonta : Genus Lasmigona

Lasmigona costata (Fluted-shell)
The interior of the Fluted-shell mussel has white or bluish-white nacre, sometimes tinted with salmon in the shallow beak cavity. The pseudocardinal teeth are thick; lateral teeth are short and not well developed.
