Lasmigona compressa (Creek Heelsplitter)
The interior of the creek heelsplitter mussel shell has white to salmon-colored nacre. The pseudocardinal teeth are well developed. The lateral teeth are thin, short, and serrated. The beak cavity is very shallow.
