Lampsilis ovata (Pocketbook)
The interior of the pocketbook mussel shell has white nacre that is iridescent toward the posterior end (left side of image). The pseudocardinal teeth are thick and compressed. The lateral teeth are short and curved. The beak cavity is very deep.
