Cyprogenia stegaria (Fanshell)
The interior of the fanshell mussel has white nacre that is iridescent at the posterior. The shell is rounded, solid, and somewhat inflated. The pseudocardinal teeth are large and serrated. The lateral teeth are large, rough, and heavy.
