Arcidens confragosus (Rock-pocketbook)
The interior of the rock-pocketbook mussel shell has white nacre, iridescent on the posterior third (left side of this image). The beak cavity is moderately deep. Pseudocardinal teeth are compressed (see top center of image); there are two in the left valve, one in the right. The lateral teeth are often seen as just a thickening of the hinge.
